OVERVIEW/

Our retreats are based around intimate group numbers for having quality connection and time to capture your visions on set. Groups on I Wanders retreats are under 20 guests, making this a comfortable space to have individual time with your models and bounce ideas around with your fellow photographers and retreat hosts. There is no idea too big, we love to see your creativity flowing and celebrate it.

We focus on bringing you to destinations around the world that highlight our favourite things in life to capture and explore; art, historical landmarks, culture and the beauty of fashion from diverse backgrounds. Throughout the retreat journey you will have one on one guidance with photography, art direction and styling. Every photoshoot is a curated and imagined styled shoot designed and directed by Ashley Nicole. Each day is composed of 1-2 styled shoots with a variety of bridal and editorial fashion forward concepts. Connecting with your fellow artists and creatives is what we strive for on our weekend or longer retreat experiences. Expect lots of community building, connectivity, dinners out and educational portions for our lead photographers and directors.

Hosted by Ashley Nicole, best known fashion styling for commercial and creative work around Canada with a background in wedding and floral design. As your creative director and lead stylist throughout the I Wander retreat series, we have curated content ranging from high fashion editorials to styled wedding portions with fine art and current trends in mind. Educational segments will be covered by your lead photographers with your most important questions about the industry in mind. 
These creative photography retreats are designed for photographers and videographers looking to seek international portfolios and connect with their fellow creatives.
